Panel Specifications
- Material: Hot-dip galvanised steel (HDG S220 Z275)
- Thickness: 0.7 mm (standard) / 0.9 mm (optional)
- Profile width: 305 mm effective coverage per panel
- Span range: 2 m – 12 m (verify loads / exposure)
- Finish: Natural galvanised / optional PPGI colour
Installation Overview
K-Span panels are roll-formed on site and joined with self-locking seams, eliminating rafters or purlins. Standard end-walls may be framed with light-gauge steel or masonry as required.
Base & Fixings
- Concrete slab or ground beam with expansion bolts or anchor plates.
- Typical fixing: M10 anchor @ 600 mm centres (verify by engineer).
Design & Load Notes
Refer to manufacturer calculations for snow and wind loads. All spans and profiles comply with UK BS 5950/EN 1993 standards when installed per guidelines.
